Why Positive Women?

Positive Women works to empower communities in Africa to help themselves. We work in some of the poorest parts of the world. Our current host country Swaziland has the highest HIV prevalence rate of any country in the world and the lowest life expectancy at just 35.

We’re not about providing a hand out but a hand up. Our empowerment and income generating projects are creating wealth in rural communities. We provide school fees and funding for local health visits.

Positive Women works with communities to make sure our programmes work in their own unique context. Staff in Manzini, Swaziland are dedicated to creating tailored programmes that are cost effective, sustainable and target those most in need.
